Best jeep excursion - Barbados or Aruba???

We will be on the Destiny January 23 - a group of 16 of us. Several of us are interested in taking a jeep tour or just taking the jeeps on our own. We want to book through Carnival shore excursion office. Any suggestions as to which is best - or worst! We'll have two 8 year olds with us - any problem with that? Thanks a lot icon_smile.gif

kathyjack -

When we were in Aruba on the Destiny we rented a Jeep on our own. The rental car area is right as you get off the ship and there are usually plenty of cars/jeeps to choose from. The island is easy to navigate and it's nice to be able to stop when you want. Frommer's has a great tour in it's Port of Call guide if you want a tour to follow.

We've done this both times we have stopped in Aruba on the Destiny and have never had any trouble.
