Pursuit in Mykonos

You likely will not know until you get there.  We've done both--docked at New Port (where most ships berth) and tender to old port.  Don't think any cruise ship would dock at the old port.

When we were in Mykonos a few years ago with Azamara, we were scheduled to tender. However, there was another cruise ship, much bigger than us, Celebrity from memory, that was booked in the new port. Because of the wind it was unable to dock, despite several attempts, so it anchored out in the harbour and tendered passengers ashore. Azamara was able to take the position at the dock, and it was interesting to watch us being manoeuvred into place, despite the wind. Because we had to wait for the Celebrity ship to decide it could not dock, it meant we were running a bit late, but docking was far preferable. There were shuttles into the town.

But it just shows that things can change at last minute!
