I've done the ship many times and recommend booking the "Oceanview Cabins" or a balcony suites.  Also, you can book a cruise/stay package for 2 or 4 nights in the Bahamas, which is the best deal going.  Gets rave reviews, from those I talked with.  Wish the casino club, was willing to Comp that!

What an excellent review and lovely photos.   I was hoping for this amazing level of detail- thanks.  I am back and forth on this ship for a trip to Key West- or the newer ship for the same destination.  Did you see bands and dancing aboard?  

At Grand Bahama, the shared taxi/van from the port up to Lighthouse Pointe is another good option - you can have lunch or there is a day pass for the beach.

There were bands onboard in several locations! They even had a band playing when we boarded in the main lounge. We truly enjoyed it and might make it an annual thing!! We will do a balcony suite next time though to change up the experience. Islander is also tempting but Paradise is so intimate and we really loved it.

THANK YOU so much for doing this review. I read a lot of "lives" here but don't comment much. You seemed to have the most FUN time of anybody this year! (Not that it's a competition). It's just that your enjoyment of the cruise really shone through in your descriptions. Also, I am so happy that you are planning to do a review on the next cruise, too - looking forward to your thoughts (and maybe your dear Mom can contribute her thoughts, too). GREAT reading!!!
