Sailaway on Golden

I'm too lazy to research this on past posts- Does the Golden have a deck party/buffet for the 11PM sailaway from San Juan? I have only sailed on Celebrity from San Juan and they usually have a BBQ and buffet along with music and dancing. Thanks.

Yes, the Golden has the "Jamaican Me Crazy Sailaway Deck Party".

Starts at 10:45pm.

We were on the 3/10 sailing and they did have the party. However, it ended and the ship still hadn't sailed! We didn't pull out until after 12:30am due to some late planes and by that time the deck had really cleared out. Was still a fun party though!

we just returned off the golden princess and the castaway party was very nice, a live band and people dancing, conga line etc. it was a great atmosphere while passing the brightly lit san juan. i dont believe there was a buffet outside, but the main buffet is always open 24 hours
