Photos above are from the turnoff from the highway. We were there for awhile since they advised us to use the washroom (1 - seater!😄) before we got to the island. The houses behind are nice, and staff stay there during the season. There were the max 14 people on the tour. A little squished in the van. Then we headed down to the boat for the ride over.

Ooce we arrived at Hump Island, the guide explained the oyster growing process. Starfish are bad, as they eat the oysters; urchins are good, as they eat the starfish eggs!

We then went inside to the oyster bar. There were 3 samples each, with various sauces, and a bowl of miso soup with seaweed. You could order more oysters, which we did- $40 dozen. Very nice and fresh of course.

We then enjoyed the boat ride back and then the drive to the ship.The young folk who work there are very knowledgeable and fun to be with. A really good tour.

Last night MDR dinner was Gala night. We both had the sea bass, and I had lava cake for dessert. On the way out, there was a yum yum man of sorts- offering mints, small figs, dates

and candied ginger.

It's a lovely day outside for our last day at sea. We went to the Alaskan Brunch this morning, which doesn't start until 9:30 so it was packed and noisy. We decided to leave and just went to Lido, which was also packed and noisy. Had a few bites and left. Packed a bit and now taking a break. I'm glad we did the 14 day cruise, so much nicer than the rushed 7 day ones.
