Matinee Tango Show in Buenos Aires or Montevideo

Our cruise is docked in ports from 8 until 6 p.m..  Is it possible to see a good Tango show in the afternoon.....with or without lunch?

We are looking for a matinee tango performance!  All suggestions appreciated.

Have a look at what Tomás with Bonaventura Trips has to offer. We found him to be an excellent guide when we were there in Dec 2022.

We did this one: maderotango.com.ar. It was called Madera Tango, and they did a lunch and show deal. Their website seems clunky, but we had a friend call speaking Spanish and got us sorted.  Beautiful show, plenty of food and wine portions and east to be back at ship by late afternoon.

I reached out to one source with a "nothing at this time" reply.

I'll try the two posted above.  They sound promising.  

Our cruise is not for a year so I have hope.

@sansterre ok I will keep looking as well.  Our cruise is January 2025.  The ship offers one with a combo “city drive”.  Would prefer to go on our own and then see more of the city.

I just texted with maderotango.com.ar. (suggested above).  They only have evening Tango performances. 

Our cruise is Jan. 2026.  Our ship also offers combo tour.  We have seen the city and just want to see a quality tango show this time.

He seems interested in creating just what we want.  I'll be most interested in what you plan and how that one goes.  Make sure to let me know what you decide and how it goes.
