Princess casino drink perk

I was on the Majestic last week (Seattle to Alaska RT). I was using a come back and sail offer which didn't have princess plus. I asked the casino hostess if I would be getting any other perks besides the $600 free play. She said that NOW, something NEW!, when you have accumulated 400 points, let the host know and you will get free drinks while playing. The Majestic doesn't have a bar in the casino and the servers weren't around much BUT I did have a few free drinks during the week. Also later had a comp for the Asian restaurant Harmony which I "traded" for a wonderful massage comp. I didn't get any jackpots this cruise. My come back and sail offer is for another balcony,$600 free play, w/o the plus package and has to be used by 12/31/24.I finished with 12000 points.

Really?  I wonder if this is just that host on Majestic or you unearthed some secret Princess policy.  Only 400 points seems too low.  (For drinks, for me, it's a moot point, as I get the Plus package).

 

For other onboard comps, I've heard other players get approached for restaurant freebies or spa services, but I'm unclear (like all of you I suppose) what point/time/play combo triggers that.

I didn't get the plus package for that cruise because my friend who was sharing my cabin doesn't drink. Having the elite mini bar and the weather wasn't nice enough to be by the pool, I didn't miss it.I talked to the host when I first started playing my $600 freeplay and she said she would look on her computer to see if I had any other comps. That's when she told me about the drinks while playing. The chocolate covered strawberries and the dinner or spa services were offered to me day 5.

Update:

The Princess casino will be offering free drinks while playing in the casino once you reach 1500 points.

This is a new program and is gradually being rolled out to the entire fleet. By the end of September should be available on every ship in the fleet. Ask your casino host if it is available on your sailing when you sail. Heard its already on the Enchanted.

This is all pretty moot since we always sail with plus but did you have a limit they would cover ?  Just wondering what would happen if you order a $30 shot of something

Well, I'll be on the Enchanted again at the end of July, so I'll report back.  I'd love for that to be true, if nothing else than maybe the casino-comped drink doesn't count towards my Plus package 15 limit -- that would be the major benefit to me.

That was discussed on fb page.you cant get 30, still only 15 drinks.   Will be on enchanted this weekend,we'll see.

We have always had the princess plus, but excepted an offer on the Sun in 2025, and just found out it will not include princess plus. So have also heard after 1500 points in the casino.

We haven’t seen the plus package included for awhile but the fares we get are so good that we do not mind paying for it

I was just surprised, I don't seem to get emails or postcards anymore, so when I called and they booked one of my offers I was not aware till after I paid and booked.
