mirrajay Posted June 16, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 16, 2004 Sorry, I havent dont it - YET!! I am on the Victory for 7 days to Canada in October. However, I have done TONS of research on the ports, so if you have questions about those, I may be able to help you out. What do you plan on doing on land? Have a great time! We would love a review when you get back! Carnival Victory, here I come! NJtomato Posted June 16, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 16, 2004 We are going next week. We also went in September 2000. It was cold, rainy and foggy the entire trip. We had a wonderful time. We booked spa treatments, read a lot, ate a lot, etc In Halifax, it was pouring. We rented a car near the pier. We drove to Peggy's Cove. It was ok. We went further to Mahoney Bay and Lunenburg. It was extremely scenic and very enjoyable. I would recommend doing this if you are adventurous. We ate at a tiny German place on Mahoney Bay near Lunenburg.
