Disclaimer first. As a veteran, I was not aware of this program and just now ran across it on YouTube. I would never recommend that you count on this as a substitute to a good travel insurance policy. However, if you are an expat living in another country and a service-connected disabled veteran or, your travel insurance policy doesn't reimburse you 100% of your out-of-pocket medical expense, this might be something you want to consider and research further.
