Alaska - independent land tour

I was originally planning a HAL or Princess cruisetour - beginning in Anchorage, taking the train to Denali, spending 2 nights there, then traveling to Seward and catching a 7 day cruise south thru Glacier Bay, Inside Passage, etc.

 

After reading a lot of the posts here, I see a lot about the positive aspects of booking the land tour portion independent of the cruise lines. Can someone give me information regarding where I might find knowledgeable people to help me with this - since this will be my first visit to Alaska?
