Galveston parking

Recommended Posts

We sailing out of Galveston on the Regal Princess December 29 this year and will be driving down from Nebraska.  I'm wondering how early I need to reserve parking and where.  I will need handicap parking and need to be very near to the terminal.  Thank you for any and all suggestions.

We always park in the express lot ( Port of Galveston Parking Site Rates & General Information | Port of Galveston, TX - Official Website).  It is next to terminal 28 where Regal usually departs.  We find it is easy to enter the lot via 33rd street which avoids the traffic in front of the terminal.  We roll our luggage from the car the short distance to the terminal.  There are a few handicapped spaces adjacent to the terminal.  It is not the cheapest, but is the closest parking to the terminal.  I

Follow up:  The port schedule shows your cruise leaving from terminal 25 which is next to terminal 28.  The express lot will still be the closest and most convenient lot, but you will have a short walk to terminal 25.  You may want to drop your luggage first, then continue to the parking lot.  The 2025 schedule is not yet posted, so I can't tell which terminal you return to.  Our last cruise out of Galveston on the Regal, left from Term. 28 and returned to terminal 25.  Enjoy your cruise!
