mrdood Posted March 27, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 27, 2006 Only two of Canival's ships have them. This kind of informatio is easy to trackdown using the Search Forum function - just type in "webcams" http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=318690&highlight=webcams
Molly BPOE Posted March 27, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted March 27, 2006 Thanks for the info. I guess I will just have to wait!;)
UnclePatNTampa Posted March 27, 2006 #5 Share Posted March 27, 2006 Molly, Why wait? You can see directly from the Victory but, you can at least see the ports from other ships going to the same place. Besides, watching over the Lido deck is not very interesting anyway, You can't really see any detail and you can get an idea of the weather and what the ports look like from the bow camera. For Miami - use the Wachovia webcam from downtown Miami. A good site to control the view of the camera but not if you have a dial-up. USE BROADBAND ONLY! http://live6.truelook.com/face/newface.jsp?func=live&name=/ecodb/wachovia/camera1&pan=-56.740635&tilt=-5.021691&panfov=1.815625&tiltfov=1.3617188&overlay=default&skin=WachJan2005&useapplet=true&time=1143034630856&width=640&height=480&quality=65&catalogname=catalog&imagemap.x=-6994&imagemap.y=-5245&imagemap.w=14629&imagemap.h=10971 To see San Juan and St Thomas, watch the Liberty (April 3rd for San Juan and April 4th for St Thomas) cam at http://www.mediacons.it/infoCarnival/ShipInfo.asp?name=Liberty&channel=1. Click on the light blue dot on the ship on the bottom left corner of the page to switch between camera 1 (bow) and camera 2 (smoke stack - Lido deck). For St Maartin, use the Valor (13th April) at http://www.mediacons.it/infoCarnival/ShipInfo.asp?name=Valor&channel=1. Same instructions as the Liberty above. At least you won't have to wait until you get on board to learn anything. Surprise you ship mates with your knowledge by describing the port before you ever get there. Make a bet on what there is and make them pay off!
