coachmouchet Posted June 21 #1 Share Posted June 21 So, I booked a family stateroom on the Nieuw Statendam - 1162. It is located under the kitchen. Has anyone experienced this location before? I have an opportunity to move to the right side of the ship, but all that remains of the family staterooms are connecting rooms. So, which would be quieter? Only fear is if a loud family is on the other side of the connecting room.
SilvertoGold Posted June 22 #2 Share Posted June 22 Port with connecting cabin would be my choice. Love the Family cabins!
Omilona Posted August 27 #3 Share Posted August 27 If you are not traveling with an infant/toddler, consider getting 2 adjoining cabins without the connecting door and instead have the cabin attendant open the divider between the 2 verandahs. The connecting door makes the room much noisier as the door is much lighter weight than the door to the hall. This will give you farm more options/choice of cabins. Another thing I would recommend getting a cabana in the Retreat. Have fun!
