Beaches ?

HI everyone,

Going on the Carnival Destiny on Apr. 30th. Was wondering if anyone ever found a beach in Dominica? I know that they are not famous for thier beaches but they have to have one, right? I found a few on the web, anyone been to Picard Beach? or Pointe baptiste beach? Any other s to suggest? We are traveling with a 10 month old so we are not doing excursions, just going to walk the beaches of the caribbean! Thanks, KJRottie:o

I think that purple turtle beach and castaways beach is the best for you.

the sand is dark in colour because of it's volcanic origin and there are rest rooms available .

These two beaches are very wonderful and great for relaxing, picnicking and just taking walks. I think u will enjoy it very much.

The best are in the north-west and north-east of the island.
