Carnival Beach at Mahogany Bay

Looing for some recent information regarding the Carnival beach at Mahogany Bay.  Last I heard you could get a lounge chair and an umbrella for $15, and the gondola ride over was pretty minimal.  But, it's ben a while since we've been there, so just checking to see if anyone has more recent experience there that they can share.

the umbrella or shell with 2 chairs were $30. 

 

loungers without umbrellas/shells were free, but nowhere near enough for everyone.

 

The beach was horribly busy. We were there on Enchanted Princess 2 weeks ago, with a Carnival ship docked in port as well.

the airlift (gondola) was $15 for unlimited rides. On Princess you could book it in advance with OBC.
