Just got back from the Dawn, had a HC room and it fit my needs fine. The ship is very Accessable..Crew was excellent.... Islands were another story. St.Thomas shops near dock all accessable..St Maarten Town was a 1.5 Mile push unless you could be lifted into the water taxi, but the town & beach are awsum ...Tortula not to bad of a push, most stores to old and had steps... San Juan one word HILLS... buses had lifts but were to full to be used, pushed up a few streets & shopped the ride down was fun

Hi Glenn,

Glad you had a great cruise on the Dawn. I'm going on the Dawn in mid-May on the 7-day Bermuda/Bahamas itinerary. I use a power chair and I'm interested in your views on the Dawn: the boarding/disembarkation process in NYC, the ease or difficulty navigating the gangway, the cabin you were in (I'm in 10711) and how the Dawn compares to other ships you've been on in terms of accessibility.

Thanks for your information.

Jim
