Damme DIY

Looking for information on the feasibility of visiting Damme from Zeebrugge on our own.

Potential plan is to take a taxi from the port to there. After some time exploring Damme we would like to take the canal boat to Bruges: Laat u meevoerenop de Damse Vaart | De Lamme Goedzak (lammegoedzakdamme.com) I'm thinking the 11am trip might be too soon a return; the next return to Bruges is 1pm.

Would it be easy to find a taxi to Damme and another back to Zeebrugge from Bruges? 

Conversely, we could head to Bruges 1st and take the noon cruise to Damme from there and head back to port @2 IF we can easily get a taxi from Damme, but that gives under 90 minutes there.

We've spent time in Bruges so are looking toward other options and Damme is definitely appealing!
