jolly_cruiser Posted July 11 #1 Share Posted July 11 All....we will be in Aruba this November on the Celebrity Reflection (Wife, Myself and 14 yo). I am looking for recommendations to any must see beaches/places/attractions in Aruba, so i can plan. I have been to Aruba about 15 years ago but i am sure much has changed since then. Appreciate your responses in advance.
kings2001 Posted August 18 #2 Share Posted August 18 We had a port day in Aruba last year on our cruise with our 11 year old and 14 year old. We rented a car and went to the donkey sanctuary, the ostrich farm, and Baby Beach. We all had a great day!
jerseygirlinAZ Posted August 23 #3 Share Posted August 23 We went to Eagle Beach and it was beautiful. $5 per person taxi ride to and from the port. We were in port late and had dinner at Barefoot restaurant on the beach at sunset. Spectacular!!! Highly recommend it!
Hatteras51 Posted August 25 #4 Share Posted August 25 There has been a ton of growth since you were there, with lots of new condos, hotels, and lots of traffic. However, the attractions and things to do are basically the same. Beautiful beaches, good snorkeling, island tours, etc.

It would be much better to take a taxi.
ggTexasGal Posted September 6 #8 Share Posted September 6 To walk from the port to Barefoot restaurant is approximately a mile and a half. The biggest problem, is the walk can get a bit dicey, due to lack of sidewalk access along the route.
