calliopecruiser Posted July 15 #1 Share Posted July 15 I've got a day in Tangier during an upcoming December cruise, and I'd like to wander around the Medina and see the synagogue......Can I walk into the old city, or is the port too large or locked down (security)? Janet&Carl Posted July 17 #2 Share Posted July 17 There is a lovely walk along the sea front in Tangier. We caught the hop on hop off bus and got off at the Medina then walked back to the ship. I thought it was a fabulous port of call and really enjoyed the day there. The HOHO is just outside the port gates. There was security to get in and out of the port but there were no passport checks or anything like that - you had to show your cruise card to get back in. 1 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
