We will be visiting Bequia in January on Explora Journey II.  Has anyone visited for just one day while on a cruise?  If so, what did you do?  This is a new port for us and we would like to see as much as possible.

Bequia is one of my favorite islands because it is not commercialized like some other islands. We’ve taken a catamaran excursion with a stop at Princess Margaret Beach.  No frills but the water and scenery is beautiful, with locals who are very friendly.  Make sure to walk on the main road, which is quite primitive. I think Hurricane Beryl made landfall this season.  It’s also a very popular stopping and restocking port for yachts and small privately-owned smaller vessels.
