markf Posted August 8 #1 Share Posted August 8 Are there connecting cabins on certain ships in the yacht club? if so which ships, or is there a 2 bedroom suite in YC.
oceans.calling Posted August 8 #2 Share Posted August 8 Meraviglia had connecting cabin in YC. No 2 bedroom suites. Something they should plan for the next new ships 🤔
peder Posted August 8 #3 Share Posted August 8 I think they should convert some aft cabins to 2-bedroom YC and/or Aurea suites.

Making them YC would break the ship within a ship model. On Divina, the YC dining room is aft and while it was not much of a problem to get from the YC to the restaurant and back it did take away some of the ship within a ship feeling that i read others talk about that sail on the newer ships. Making them Aurea Suites would make perfect sense.

Making them Aurea Suites would make perfect sense. MSC already broke their own model on the Meraviglia-class ships by converting the Duplex suites to Yacht Club. There's no reason that some suites can't live outside of the bubble. DCL Concierge has its 2-bedroom units at the aft of the Triton-class ships, outside of the Concierge bubble, and I don't think anyone minds. And this would be just a handful of suites. Wouldn't materially change things for the average YCer.
