mcbrides Posted March 28, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 28, 2006 I used the search feature and located this link to check on tendering v. docking status of Spirit in Ketchikan during our May cruise. http://www.claalaska.com/schedules.html But I can't see where the schedule indicates either? Am I missing something?
Cruizer_J Posted March 28, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 28, 2006 Many of the schedules have not yet been updated to show berth (and tender) assignments -- hopefully that will happen soon. Skagway's was recently updated at: http://www.skagway.com/06skagwayshipsched.pdf. If there are 3 or fewer ships (including yours) in port at Ketchikan when you are there then you probably won't have to tender.
Budget Queen Posted March 28, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 28, 2006 I used the search feature and located this link to check on tendering v. docking status of Spirit in Ketchikan during our May cruise. http://www.claalaska.com/schedules.html But I can't see where the schedule indicates either? Am I missing something? The Spirit just about always docks, the great advantage of the "odd" sailing day, a Wednesday. I've gone with Carnival 3 times, never a lot of ships. bluedevil72 Posted March 28, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 28, 2006 The Ketchikan 2006 info is not up yet but probably will be within the next few days or weeks. The direct link is rather long so here is how to get to it. Go to www.visit-ketchikan.com. . Click about at the top of the page. Then click Cruise Ship Statistics on the left side of the page. Finally click 2005 Cruise Ship Calendar in the text under Cruise Ship Statistics. It gives the berth info if the ship is docking and will say ANC (I think) if the ship is tendering. If you will go to the very bottom of the page, it will explain all the berth positions.
