We have not had a problem using the Onboard Services ex. Purser Office to book for a Showing.

But using the App on the Smartphone is quite easy and see all the availabilities that were there.

I really hope there’s a planetarium show that is science based instead of music or entertainment based when we’re on board. I’m rather particular about my music and I don’t really feel like spending time just looking up at colors and listening to someone else’s playlist.  But learning about the stars, galaxies, universe, etc. is right up my alley!

The "Spark: the Universe in Us" one is definitely science-based, and had some good factoids. It was playing on QM2 during our crossing a couple of weeks ago, alongside others.

FWIW, the old days of having to book planetarium tickets the instant they came available seem to be gone; we had no trouble at all getting seats on the myVoyage app (day of show), and there were plenty of empty seats available for walk-ins.  Of course your mileage may vary!
