80sGal Posted August 23 #1 Share Posted August 23 On the main RC site I see that the excursions sold by RC include helicopter rides to the Glaciers and Sled Dog musher camp visits. However, looking ahead to our June 25 itinerary there are lots of excursions available already but none with those options in Juneau or Skagway where they are shown on the "general" excursion list. Do these get added later or have they been discontinued? If anyone on that type of itinerary knows if those show up later, please let us know! Some things already show as Limited ... and a couple sold out ... a year in advance. Hoping they keep adding more.

Might be added later, might be sold out although they usually list them and just put sold out under it. If you book I suggest doing the "pilots Choice" two glacier stop. When we did it we we the only helicopter tour that got off the ground as the pilot was able to adjust his route around the rain and fog. The other tours all were cancelled as weather interfered.
SeeUsCruise Posted August 26 #3 Share Posted August 26 Our cruise added the helicopter/dog-sledding a little later than the others. There was only one option and we never saw it go on sale. We ended up booking through Alaska Shore Excursions since they had several options in Juneau and the price was lower. It was an amazing experience! In Juneau, the vendors are Temsco, Coastal and Northstar. Their contact info is in the Juneau Visitor Guide, pg 66: Juneau Virtual Visitor's Guide | Attractions & Things To Do (traveljuneau.com) I don't recall the Skagway vendors. But google Skagway Visitor Guide and you'll find the info. Edited August 26 by mapleleaves

I have a question do you think the helicopter tickets will be available to purchase at the port
