Complimentary Special Dinner for 2

Hello-

We booked Symphony through BJs Travel. As part of our package we are given a Complimentary Specialty Dinner for 2. However we are not allowed to make a reservation until on board and it says some restrictions may apply.  If anyone has rec'd this before, how does it work and what are the restrictions?

I have no idea and would talk with your travel agency, since they are the ones gifting you. Maybe someone else knows how it might work? Speaking of specialty restaurants, we really like 150 Central Park for special dinners; great atmosphere!

Enjoy a complimentary dinner for two in one of our specialty restaurants onboard. All specialty restaurants valid except Izumi Hibachi, Teppanyaki, Chef’s Table, Celebration Table & Empire Supper Club. Venues vary by ship. Gratuities are included. Alcoholic beverages and sodas are not included and are available at an additional cost.

 

This voucher may not be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash or credited towards other purchases or substitutions. Presentation of this virtual voucher alone will not entitle the possessor to redeem this offer onboard. No cash value. Reservations for specialty dining must be made onboard in order to redeem this voucher. This voucher will not be accepted for specialty dining reservations that are made online prior to the cruise. FYI - Your "voucher" is included in your cruise documents that are available in the cruise planner 30 days prior to sailing.  It will be the page prior to the luggage tag.

Once you get onboard, you can book using the voucher.  They should see it on your reservation if you tell them you have a free dinner voucher from your travel agent.  One of the speciality restaurants is generally my first stop once onboard for these types of bookings.
