The breakfast buffet is huge and amazing.  Everything very fresh and well prepared with an amazing variety.

 

Sorry, I could find restaurants again when there, but don't really remember names as we walk around until one catches our eye.  Try to avoid the ones in the Plaka itself, with views of the acropolis and anyone waving you in.  If you cross the square and go down Mitropoleus from Syntagma the street is lined with many great restaurants.

Looks like a really nice hotel - I have a question though!  The site says "open bathroom".   Is the WC in the open bathroom or off on its own ??  And can the bathroom perhaps be closed ?  sliding doors etc ?

The bathroom is entirely self-contained.  The wall has a solid wood sliding panel that can be pushed opened to allow open to the glass wall to the shower stall/sink area, but if you keep the panel closed, it is a standard solid wall.
