Semi-Live: Venezia Labor Day Cruise 8/31-9/7

And here is the route. It looks like it will take you all the way to the Clocktower building. 
 

 

The public bus stop is at the Clocktower.

They were sailing these Carnival cups at the Lido Buffet. $12 each and he was selling them like hotcakes.

We booked Snorkel for a Cure with Restless Native. A portion of the ticket cost was donated to breast cancer research. I don’t know how much and they did not say. 
 

Here is our catamaran.

The water is very blue. 

 

We motored for about 30 minutes until we came to this cove. 

 

 

There were a few other boats there already but they left after a bit. Captain said Labor Day weekend is a busy time.

We had 2.5 hours to enjoy the water. They had snorkel equipment, kayaks, paddle boards, and noodles. 
 

Most importantly, free rum swizzles.

We kayaked for a bit but I left my phone on the boat. Then we paddle boarded to the small beach.

Stairs to the beach. There is a rule that Bermuda beaches are public spaces to the high tide mark.

The crew brought rum swizzles around on a paddle board. Back on the boat were more swizzles and warm cookies.

We appeared to be on a course to ram the Venezia.

Instead, we did a close range sail by blaring YMCA. 

 

 

This sweet lady was dancing up a storm. 

 

 

They dropped us off right be the ship. 
 

There was a smedium line to get back on the Venezia. 
 

I would rate this excursion 5 out of 5. The crew was very accommodating and helpful plus a ton of fun.

Back on board about 5:30 pm. Shower and nap. Made it to dinner at 8:00 pm.

DH said the chicken tenders were excellent

I've never had a desire to visit Bermuda. 

 

Now I totally want to go there! Thanks for the vicarious tour.

After dinner, we found seats in the theater for 18+ Family Feud. 
 

No photos or video allowed

 

It was so funny. Not only are the live contestants funny but they play a ton of clips of the hilarious answers on real Family Feud over the years.

Lots of places to listen to music tonight including the atrium, Gondola Lounge, and Carnevale Lounge.

I went up to Lido to get night time pics of the island but it was mostly dark. 
 

They had late night eats out.

Turning in for the night and realizing I am missing my black swim shirt. 
 

I think I left it on the catamaran. I emailed the company. Fingers crossed they find it and I can get it back
