LOVED the video of your excursion return. I’ve had more than my fair share of rum swizzles at the Swizzle Inn in Hamilton and I can attest to the behavior! 👏👍🤗 Glad you found your shirt! Hope DH is feeling better.

It was so fun. I felt like we were much closer to the ship than shown in the video. So many people on their balconies were dancing along with us!

It's been a couple of years since I've sailed Carnival but I will be on this ship in November. I'm bummed about the little cake slices.

Did you take a yoga class? My cruise will be 9 days long and I will be crippled by the end if I don't do yoga.

I agree about the cake slices. They still taste really good once you get over their appearance. Hey good things come in small packages, right?

I have no taken yoga yet. They do offer a free morning stretch class on the Lido at 7 am.

My room steward’s name is Yoga, does that count?

Celebration beer was accompanied by lunch. DH decided to stay on ship while I checked out the beaches.

I walked to th shuttles for the beach and boarded at 2:19 pm

There is some wave action at Horseshoe. These kids were doing well on their boogie boards. IMG_1227.thumb.jpeg.2736713c63944d77de98b25115c41e19.jpeg

I wanted to try the trail that leads between Horseshoe and Warwick Long Beach.

After a hike up the hill, I came to another cove. IMG_1233.thumb.jpeg.2c925f39b9452357e198af6da6d2fd94.jpeg

The first opening down is very steep and rocky so I kept going.

This access point is much more manageable  I walked down to the beach  IMG_1236.thumb.jpeg.623c0f26ddae89e94424db5c7f50d4d8.jpeg

I found shade near the cliffs and set my backpack down. IMG_1239.thumb.jpeg.c890110d2cc8e57b0914a3890300a65b.jpeg

Around the corner was another small cove.

Friends on the rocks. Does anyone know what these are?

I got in the water and floated around. It was the perfect temp.

Nice shady area with a view of the water. I stayed here about 20 minutes but wanted to see what else I could find.

Over the hill and through the woods to Warwick Bay.

I crossed paths with a couple that wanted to know the way to Horseshoe Beach. I gave them detailed directions and asked how to get to Warwick. They pointed behind them.

This is not the path.

Look for the pink buildings which has bathrooms and the leafy tunnel.

I left this area and reapplied sunscreen. The shuttle driver said the Bermuda water is very salty and exacerbates sunburns.

A short walk up the path lead to this cute cove. I think this is Jobson’s Cove.

Thia felt like a private swimming pool. It was calm and cool. A few other people there but not many. You could swim out past the rocks but I stayed in the cove.

I think you could spend a few hours here.

After 20 minutes or so, I moved on. I needed to make it back to the ship before DH started to worry!!

Headed east again to Warwick Ling Beach

This beach looks very similar to Horseshoe Bay but less crowded because they don’t have services like beach chairs or food. Just as pretty!!

One more walk up a hill

I was looking for the bus stop. Thankfully it was about 100 yards from the top of the hill.

The bus came fairly quickly but it was standing room only all the way back to Dockyard.
