Air temperatures on sea days from Southampton

We are cruising from Southampton this month.  Wondering what to expect for temperatures on sea days.  The cruise is round trip to Canary Islands.  Any information would be appreciated

Outside it is most likely jumper and jacket weather until you get down to the Canary Islands, and although there is potential for something better than that, it would be a bonus and by no means a certainty.

Thanks, we were thinking jeans and short sleeve tops.  Guess we will look into long sleeve or jacket as you mentioned.

Short sleeeves in N Europe waters at this time of year may be ambitious.

You should start to get reasonable weather once you're off the coast of Spain but probably not really hot until you get to the Canaries. Stick with your jeans and short sleeves - but add in a lightish jacket.

And not necessarily even then. On our cruise to the Canaries in May we didn’t have a single day you would describe as more than mildly warm.

Can I ask the same question but for second half of March, cruising Canaries, via Spain and Portugal (inc Madeira). Recommendations for clothing would be great, both for sea days and shore days. Thank yopu.

Don’t assume any degree of warmth for sea days.
