Hi all, I'm trying to figure out if my 5pm  dinner reservation while we will still be docked in Halifax( to 6pm) , will be dry? The reason i ask is I understand that the Canadian regs require limited bar service while in port. What I'm not sure about is how the restaurants are treated ? I would have to surmise that they would be on the same restrictions as the bars, but if anyone has any intel I'd appreciate it. Its not a deal breaker, but it was the only reservation i could secure at Crown Grill all week, and sure would enjoy a glass of wine with my meal. The other option I assume would be to go to a bar that is open and bring a drink in, but Id rather not do that If I don't have to

Thanks !

The restriction is for bars per deck. If you eat in a MDR or SD while in a Canadian port you can order they will just have to go to a bar to get it. One bar open per deck while in Canadian ports.  No big deal with dinner but the bars do get crowded.  Those bartenders from bars that are closed are re distributed aground bars that are open
