mljatsea Posted September 7 #1 Share Posted September 7 We are considering a westbound TA for 2025. Can I expect that there will be enrichment speakers onboard for the many sea days? Our last TA was on Celebrity in 2023 and they did have them, though not the pre-COVID quality. On our Rotterdam Norway sailing in June the only talks were by the cruise director who did a good job on port info. Also hoping for more classical music opportunities. The production shows were lame--talented performer who were given mediocre material with which to work. My husband has enjoyed participating in TA choirs on HAL (2007), QM2 (2018) and Celebrity (2023). Hope that might happen again. This TA date is the best option for return from our month in Italy. We've been on HAL TA's in 2019, 2021, and 2024....Also, a TP in 2023. HAL always had a guest speaker/lecturer and also the regular EXC talks. 1 hour ago, mljatsea said: Also hoping for more classical music opportunities. On all of our cruises....those above plus other cruises, classical music was available. Edited September 7 by FlaMariner
everbeentoseabilly Posted September 7 #3 Share Posted September 7 There was a speaker on our transatlantic cruise last November. I only went once. I didn’t find the speaker very engaging. There wasn’t a choir. We enjoyed our cruise and would do a transatlantic again
