[Ken the cruiser]

All aboard! We had one of the smoothest boarding processes we can ever remember. Simply put, we entered the parking facility at 10:15 am to park our car, and by 11:20 am, we were sitting down in the Windjammer Buffet having lunch. 😁

During that hour we went through security, finished checking in at the terminal, and then sat for about 10 minutes waiting for our group to board the ship. Then once onboard we headed directly to Chops on Deck 8 to reserve our two BOGO reservations in Chops and 150 Central Park for days 1 and 2, and Hooked Seafood on Day 5, all with 5 pm reservations. Then it was time to head to the CK on Deck 17 where we had no issues making dinner reservations for Days 3 and 7 at 5 pm. Now that we had our evening dining reservations secured, the CK hostess said she would contact the MDR host to cancel our standing early fixed seating reservation.

 

After lunch we hung out on the stairwell with everyone else until they opened the hallway door at 1 pm so we could head to our cabin. Once there we settled in until it was time for dinner. Here’s some of the views from our balcony.

 
Of course, I had to get some scenic shots with a turkey buzzard flying around! 😂

 

 

 
Then across the channel was the MSC Seashore.

 

 
We then looked down and saw a couple of dolphins playing around. Later on we saw some pelicans and gulls also flying by. 😁

 

 
Then more good news! Windy is providing a more positive forecast for this coming week associated with the brewing storm in the Caribbean.

Have a great time.  We board October 6th.  Having a hard time waiting . Will be our second time on the Wonder. Looking forward to all your experiences.
