Witchymob Posted September 27 #1 Share Posted September 27 Just been notified yesterday that Queen Anne's 2026 World Cruise will now change completely to avoid red sea. We were booked from Fremantle to Southampton via Indian Ocean and Africa so were not too concerned. But cruise is now coming out that way and missing Fremantle then continuing to Singapore and Sydney and back across Pacific, Panama canal back to UK. Will hear next week if we can still join in Sydney. We have also booked Crown Princess Dover to Sydney for 2026. Princess seems to be the only line still taking bookings for cruises thru the Red Sea, but I note that Coral Princess is now booked into Fremantle on 11th March 2026 and the Crown on 18th May 2026. Any one any info on changes to 2026 Worlds and likely new itineraries. Cunard have advised they will want us to rebook or cancel within a couple of days of being advised to the new itinerary.
Rare arxcards Posted September 27 #2 Share Posted September 27 Princess changed their 2025 WC on Crown a few months ago, to avoid the Red Sea. 2026 is still a long way off, but the Cunard changes for Queen Anne would suggest it is only a matter of time before Princess follow suit. I don't know what the specific itinerary will be, except for Princess at least, you will get a fair idea by looking at their revised 2024 & 2025 itineraries.
