takemewithyou Posted Saturday at 02:55 AM #1 Share Posted Saturday at 02:55 AM (edited) Itineraries are not out but the rumor is that Pursuit is going to Alaska in 2026. When I do a search on Mr Google, I see itineraries posted on UK TA web sites. Anyone have a heads up on this from the UK? Belfastman Posted Saturday at 12:22 PM #2 Share Posted Saturday at 12:22 PM Not aware of any site with itineraries only Pursuit will be deployed in an area of natural beauty known for its wildlife. Further details due in a few weeks.
wjfan417 Posted Saturday at 12:26 PM #3 Share Posted Saturday at 12:26 PM That would be great! We went to Alaska on Quest the year they did it and had a wonderful time! We did the pre-cruise land tour that was offered also.
takemewithyou Posted Saturday at 03:26 PM Author #4 Share Posted Saturday at 03:26 PM It looks like it is happening. I can see itineraries up from one travel provider in UK, specifically. No pricing yet. From June to August 2026 and then back to Japan. The embarkation port is Vancouver. When I check the Azamara web site and search for Destinations, Alaska is there but the link is not active or live yet.
PirateWife Posted Saturday at 08:19 PM #5 Share Posted Saturday at 08:19 PM It is unfortunate that the UK TA site is giving the impression that the cruises can be booked. US TAs know there are Alaska itineraries coming but booking has not been opened by Azamara yet.
takemewithyou Posted Sunday at 01:06 AM Author #6 Share Posted Sunday at 01:06 AM I am just grateful that Azamara are bringing their ships over to N America and we are getting itineraries in Canada / NE and Alaska and not just all Europe for all 4 ships. I feel like we have been heard! Now we have more choices! Thank you, Azamara!

My very first cruise was Vancouver to Seward. I really liked the inside passage along the BC coast. Unfortunately, as ships have become huge, many cruises skip most of the inside passage and sail in the open seas west of Vancouver Island, not returning to the Inside Passage until Ketchikan. Hopefully, Azamara will stay withing the true inside passage the whole way. The scenery is wonderful and the the water is flat.

Chihuly Glass Museum and Gardens in Seattle! They rented the place and it was a gorgeous evening, with a violinist playing and waiters circulating with nibbles and drinks. Fabulous artwork, right next to the Space Needle

So it was not embarkation or debarkation port, in other words?

I would love to know more about your land tour. The southbound itinerary combined with a pre-cruise land tour would really make for a fantastic trip. I’m excited to see prices. Does anyone know when Azamara plans to open up booking for these??

These cruises were in 2019, the only year Azamara sailed to Alaska. They haven’t announced Alaska cruises yet, but rumor has it that they will be for the summer of 2026 on Pursuit. Will probably be announced with some fanfare, so keep an eye out!
