So, how much is the "package price" then? With FAS, you really had no way of knowing what you were paying for the beverage part of it, except you knew you were being charged about $22 per person per day for the gratuity on what they valued the beverage package at, which was around $120 per day or so? Are you saying you are now being charged a separate amount for the beverage package with MAS, or are they just calling the "service charge" something else now? I'm confused as hell by this whole thing.

They're just calling the service charge something else and tiering it by cruise length. It's $30/day/pp for 3-7 night cruises, $27/pp/day for 8-11 night cruises, and $23/pp/day for 12+ night cruises.
