Hotel Smart Cruise…..thoughts

We booked this hotel ages ago but just noticed in the fine print on Expedia it says the hotel has no elevators!  This is a multi story newly renovated hotel, seems odd not to have an elevator even a small one in a cruise port hotel.  The hotel gets great reviews none of which mentions the lack of elevator, does anyone have any firsthand experience?  We are a couple of seniors really not looking forward to our brief stay if this is the case!

Have you tried to contact them, maybe by e-mail for a definitive answer as to whether they have an elevator or not? And should they not have one, would you be able to book a ground floor room?

Unfortunately, when you book through a third party like Expedia the hotel will not assign you a specific room, you get what is available when you arrive.  I learned this the hard way and have booked directly with hotels ever since, though I often use the booking platforms to get an overview of options and prices.

We have sent them an enquiry, hopefully Expedia is incorrect 🤞
