Junkanoo Beach

We'll be getting off the ship in Nassau and want to go to a close by beach. My husband will be on a scooter. Would he be able to ride the scooter to the beach? Would we have to take a cab, or because of all the sand on the beach, he wouldn't be able to take the scooter?

I wouldn't advise it. The beach is at least 3/4 of a mile away when you add in the distance from your ship to the end of the pier. There would be some places where there is no sidewalks as well. The beach is pretty much all sand. It won't be worth the effort and and would be very frustrating.
