Our cruise itinerary for January '25 just got changed, and one of the places we're now going to is St. Thomas.  Believe me, I'm not complaining.  But as you can see from the title, there isn't really a good window of time for any warm sunbathing/beaching.

We did St. John's last time we were here and it was beautiful.  But we lost so much time getting to there and back from there.  So, it looks like we'll stay on St. Thomas.

To us, finding a nice beach restaurant would suffice as long as the food and drinks are good and as long as there's a nice view of the water.  This will be our excursion, so we are willing to pay 'extra' if need be.

Any other thoughts (outside of the food and drink) are appreciated.

Your ship should dock at Havensight. There aren't many eating places on the beach that are open before 11, but the restaurant at Bolongo Bay Resort is, and had good food the times I've been. Has a laid back vibe, and is not too far from the dock. You can see the location on Google Maps.

The snack bar at Coki Beach is also open early, and the beach is so beautiful in the early morning. The other food concessions mostly open at 11. Don't think the snack bar sells adult beverages.

Margaritaville Restaurant is also open, but I don't think anybody goes in their beach water. They walk over to Coki or elsewhere.

The advantage of the timing of your ship is the island's beaches are at their most beautiful and tranquil. Completely different from regular frantic mid to late day vibe.
