Repositioning Cruises? How do you find them?

Recommended Posts

Hello Everyone and thank you all for all the helpful information you share on the board. My entire family and a niece will be going on a cruise in Jan 07. Their first cruise my 3rd. I'm excited to share it with the kids...

Any whoo...how do you find a repositioning cruise...would like to consider one for possible booking for the next trip.

Thanks in advance.

Safe travels.

Lood for "Transatlantic", "Pacific Coastal" or "Panama Canal" on the major travel websites (the schedule for 2007-2008 isn't out yet, I don't think, but that's where they will show up when it is released). There are also one way trips from New York or Boston to the Caribbean, so if you see a transatlantic itinerary in September that ends up in one of those cities, do a search for that particular ship and you'll see.

Other lines will have cruises from, for example, Sydney to LA or around South America from Florida to San Diego or LA. To find those, you may have to do a little more digging (I haven't tried, so I don't know where to point you).

Happy hunting!
