One-night Vancouver to Seattle

Thinking of booking a cheap cabin for this one nighter down the coast. Anyone here ever done such a short itinerary? What time would I be able to board? Disembark? Usual stuff happening on the ship (restuarants, casino, shows, lounges etc.)? Thought it could be a fun night.

Never done it but I would suspect the hours would be the same but with a very casual atmosphere. I cannot imagine a formal night for this. Too short a trip but it might be more fun that a bus ride between Vancouver and Seattle.

We thought about doing a 1 nighter from Vancouver to Seattle as well - makes for a quick cruise fix!

 

There's one in April on the Volendam and one in May on the Zaandam. It might be worth it if you planned to stay a day and explore Seattle. In the end we decided on the 2 night Veendam from Seattle to Vancouver, though I believe it has sold out by now...

I'm doing a 3-night Pacific Coastal from L.A. to Vancouver on the Volendam, and the next sailing is a 1-night Vancouver to Seattle. We considered booking BOTH, but decided instead to stay a couple of days in Vancouver and play.

 

All of the usual activities will be going on; these shorter sailings on the Volendam are just segments of a longer cruise through the Panama Canal, and the ship will no doubt still have passengers onboard who embarked at the beginning.

 

If you want basically a fun night out on a ship, go for it. :)
