Carnival Imagination in power wc

We are going on above mentioned cruise this month. Have cruised on Carnival in past but it has been many years. Are they now docking in Key West and if so how far is it to town. Also, one thread mentioned having the shuttle driver in Calica call for a bus with a lift to go to Xcaret. Does anyone know which shuttle company has the bus with the lift? There are only 2 stops on this cruise and if my husband cannot get into town we may decide to stay on the ship. Would appreciate any information.

We were on Carnival Glory last November. It docked in Key West. There is a shuttle tram into town -- some of which are wheelchair accessible (a lift on the back of the vehicle). The trip took maybe 10 minutes. We took the city tour offered by Carnival and just stayed on the tram for that. AFter the tour, it let us off in the middle of town and we wandered around on our own for a while. Then when ready to go back to ship just went to a specified corner to wait for a return tram. Not all of them have wheelchair lifts, but enough do so that we didn't have to wait too long.
