How much soda/water can one take on?

How much soda and bottled water can each person take on board? Does anyone know what is considered ok?

Carnival's official policy - found in your cruise documents by the way, is a "reasonable" amount, the problem with that is what is reasonable to one person, may not be to another.

 

With that said, we take a 12pack per person.

Carnival says 'resonable amount'. As a solo cruiser, I take one six-pk. of the 16-oz. plastic-bottled Cokes - for a five night cruise. I think that's reasonable.

 

Water? I take one bottle of water on board, and refill with the water on the ship. It's very good water, so why lug it on board?:)

I have seen people stroll on board with a case of bottled water and case of sodas

For a seven day cruise we usually take a 24-pack.. I had rather have Mt. Dew than coke products.

I've heard that a case is fine and no questions asked. I take water - I like to have it in the cabin and keep it handy.

i always stick one of my luggage tags on the case of water and write my cabin # on it and take a whole case.

We bring a 6pk of soda with us and in each port buy another 6pk, that way our bags aren't so heavy.

STUPID QUESTION but how do you wrap it? Do you put bubble wrap around it? How do you keep it from getting broke? I would really like to put a luggage tag on my few bottles of water and Cokes and not have to carry it because it does get heavy in the bottom of my carry on bag. Thanks
