Favorite port?

Just curious what everyone favorite port was....

 

I'd have to say my favorite was Aruba

 

next would be a tie between Grand Cayman or St Thomas.

My Favorite post is a tie between Aruba & St. John.

St. John-Mellow and relaxing.

Aruba-exciting and fun.

I also love San Juan for the excitement.

or course Cayman Islands is very friendly and Dominica is beautiful and Jamaica is the party spot and Cozumel is very nice also.

St. Thomas has good shopping.

Mine would Venice Italy. The view from the top deck of your ship as you either come into port or as you leave port is just fantastic.

Venice is so much nicer once the cruise ships have left for the day!

 

My wife and I went last summer for our first wedding anniversary. We watched the parade of ships leaving each evening from our hotel balcony!

 

It is difficult to think of a favourite port.

 

But least favourite is New York. The only saving grace is that one has the boat to oneself for the day!

I'll second the vote for Kauai, Hawaii. We were also quite taken with Sitka, Alaska.

 

Haven't been to Europe yet, but it's in the plan for the future!

Ushuaia (can say it - can't spell it!)

Stanley, Falklands!

Barcelona

Santorini (must ride the donkeys!)

Venice, gorgeous Venice

 

And my very favorite port is always - the next one!
