jbwinvan Posted April 6, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2006 I know that I have seen this on here before but I can't find it now. Which restaurants on the star have a surcharge? I think that they are Le Bistro and Cagney's for sure but which others? Also, what did those that have been on the Star think of the surcharge restaurants in general? From what I have read they are worth it, Cagney's and Le Bistro have received mostly positive reviews but what about the others? Thanks, JBW

soprano Posted April 6, 2006 #8 Share Posted April 6, 2006 I thought Soho was a pay restaurant also?
johnql Posted April 6, 2006 #9 Share Posted April 6, 2006 I thought Soho was a pay restaurant also? That's correct - Soho is a pay restaurant. As for gratuities in the surcharge restaurants, they are not expected but certainly appreciated.

jbwinvan Posted April 7, 2006 Author #11 Share Posted April 7, 2006 OK, so let me get this straight. Cagney's, Le Bistro, Soho and Ginza(which would include the Teppanyaki) are all the surcharge restaurants. Endless Summer and La Trattoria are not pay restaurants but do require reservations. Aqua,Versailles, Market Cafe, Blue Lagoon and everything else are first come first served. Is that right?
johnql Posted April 7, 2006 #12 Share Posted April 7, 2006 JBWINVAN, I think you've got it. Here's how I break it down: Included, no reservations required Versailles (main dining room) Aqua (main dining room) Market Cafe (buffet) Red Lion Pub (snacks) Blue Lagoon (24/7 diner-type food) Room service (24/7) Late night snacks in the casino Included, reservations required La Trattoria (Italian) Endless Summer (Tex-Mex) Surcharge, reservations required Le Bistro (French) Cagney's (Steakhouse) Ginza (Asian Fusion) - Thai-Chinese-Japanese restaurant / sushi bar / Teppanyaki Soho Room (Pacific Rim) Surcharge, no reservations required Java Cafe (frozen coffee, expresso, cappucino, tea, pastries and cookies)
