hi cruisers, anyone know of a place that has good snorkeling on playa? seems carnival changed us from cozumel to playa which is fine, but i dont know where to snorkel here.. thanks

Good snorkeling:

Xel Ha - other things there too - it is a sort of 'natural' water park with lockers, rentals, food and an admission fee. Do a search - it has a website.

Akumal Playa - straight off the beach. There are restaurants and beach bars.

Yal Ku - an ocean inlet near Akumal - small admission fee

All of these places are south of Playa Del Carmen - so you will have to take a taxi or a Collectivo (mini-bus) to get there.

hey u!!!! where ya been gogetter!!?? r u booked on a cruise soon? the only person i found last yr on the glory was i think dwayne and has partner. small talk in the casino, were sitting at machines next to each other, he said he didnt c u either. i fell asleep, day people...i am 100% night person..so it takes a few days to get used to it.

i think akumel looks good, the others r great but i wanna have time to do stuff, so i will go there when i return in the fall so i can have all day.. thanks for the help..
