cruisenews Posted April 7, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 7, 2006 I received all my travel documents electronicall for my cruise on April 23 fom NY. When I called to inquire about the luggae tags they told me I would get that at the pier. Is this true?
DieHard Posted April 7, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 7, 2006 That's right. When you get to the pier there is a person handing out baggage tags. You then turn your bags over to porters who tag them and deliver them to the ship.
shoreguy Posted April 7, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 7, 2006 That's right. When you get to the pier there is a person handing out baggage tags. You then turn your bags over to porters who tag them and deliver them to the ship. And it is very easy and fast. The porter who takes you bag normally has tags. I had in the past printed a sheet of mailing labels to slap on the tag. You can do that if you want. I noticed last cruise all the info they need for the tag is last name and cabin number. They put your bag in the correct cart for or aft for loading on the ship.
johnjrval424 Posted April 7, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 7, 2006 I received my luggage tags when I received my docs from my TA. Maybe mine was an exception to the rule...
