Luggage Tags

That's right. When you get to the pier there is a person handing out baggage tags. You then turn your bags over to porters who tag them and deliver them to the ship.

 

And it is very easy and fast. The porter who takes you bag normally has tags. I had in the past printed a sheet of mailing labels to slap on the tag. You can do that if you want.

 

I noticed last cruise all the info they need for the tag is last name and cabin number. They put your bag in the correct cart for or aft for loading on the ship.
