Parking in Tampa

Does anyone know of any place to park other than the port that is cheaper and close by the port?

 

I just hate paying $100 bucks to park for the week! We thought about driving straight thru and staying at a hotel that parked, but it would mean us getting there at 3-4 am the day of the cruise. So we are going to stay about 2-3 hours out and make the rest of the drive that morning.

I think it is $12. a day. Have you considered renting a car and turning it in ?

Depends on the cost of rental, gas, etc. I have found it is cheaper to rent a car and turn it in at Tampa airport than to drive our car and pay the parking fee for a long cruise when we are flying out.
