St. Kitts info needed

Okay...the wife talked me out of the April cruise and instead we are spending 5 days in St. Kitts. Remember, happy wife...happy life! Can anyone provide feedback, reviews or suggestions on what we can do or expect on this island? Yes I know, this is a cruise forum, but we have always received reliable info from other posters. Yes, we have checked out that web site.

Would like info on local excursions and inexpensive, but good, places to eat. Info on visiting islands that are nearby. Also, I checked out the weather.com forecast and it shows rain up until the 18th. We will be there from the 12th thru the 16th and curious if this is normal? Do they have rains that move in and out quickly?
