What do these delicious-sounding drinks cost, anyway? If a beer is $4.50, I'm guessing a cocktail like this must be double that?

And thanks for the recipes!

The price of a cocktail is I believe 4.75; not a big deal but I think it's worth it.:D

Mine is the Kiss on the Lips too. I'm afraid I'm guilty of getting Renee (walkswife) hooked on them too (and all the other ladies from our roll call).;)

Yes...I am one of the newly hooked (that sounds bad, doesn't it? ) on Kiss on the Lips --- thanks to you HeidiHo!! What are friends for, anyway?

Thanks for the great thread, PineappleGal!

Does Carnival serve the Blue Hawaiian? I haven't had one in years, but it was the best drink(s) I ever had!!!

Deja vu? Did I give you this recipe awhile back? It's Blue Hawaii, not Hawaiian, but maybe the same thing?

BLUE HAWAII

3/4 oz. light rum

3/4 oz. vodka

1/2 oz. Blue Caracao

3 oz. pineapple juice

1 oz. sweet & sour mix

Shake and serve over crushed ice.

(That is supposedly the 'original' by Henry Yee at Hawaii Hilton.)

A variation is:

1 oz. Blue Curacao

1 oz. vodka

1 oz. sweet & sour mix

2 oz. pineapple juice

If your looking for a specific drink that you enjoyed on one of the Fun Ships then let me know. If you can't remember then try to remember the ingredients and I can try to match those taste buds to a drink in the book. I also have another thread of all the food items you enjoyed in the dining rooms if anyone is interested. GOOD LUCK searching...:p

p.s the list of drinks will be located on the other pages

Yummy! I always mix up the name of it. Tastes the same though no matter what you call it - I hope!!! Someone gave me the recipe. I am not going to print it so I can take it with me.

I was just wondering if it is served on Carnival? If something is not on the drink list and you ask for it will they make it for you anyway? I'm a good tipper! ;)

Hi Pineapplegal. I've been dying to know how to make a frozen rum runner. The frozen part I think I can figure out :) but it's the rest that has me stumped. I didn't see it listed in the book but I know they make them. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Anyone know what the BBB is?? I know I had these on my RCI cruise but can't remember what all the B's are for. I think it was Bailey's...Banana...and ???? It was a frozen daquri-type drink.

This is a great thread... I always want to try new drinks and now I'll have a whole list to take with me! ;)

I've had this before, and it's one of my favorites! But it's been a really long time. I think the other "B" is Bacardi, but I'm not completely positive.

Are you sure it wasn't a BBC?? That is a Bailey's Banana Colada, and a pretty popular drink... never heard of a BBB though.

There is no banana blended in with the other ingredients, but it does have banana liqueur.

Thanks Cotton,

I think to be safe I will just stick the rum, apricot brandy ect.

PS give my sailor a hug for me, He is a Seabee there in Gulfport, MS. You really can't miss him...no hair, skinny...LOL!:p
