Ahoy,

Just a note to point out that as much as Cruisecritic.com is a fun and free service for the cruising community, it is also a business and a livelyhood for some folks. As such, it is considered inappropriate to post links to competing web sites, i.e. other sites with discussion boards and advertisers. It would be similar to one handing out Ford brocures at a GM dealer's show room.

Thanks for your consideration, now back to more cruise-related topics.

I'm a relatively new poster (but lurked for a while!) and just wanted to say that I appreciate those of you who do this for a living making a place for us to find out first-hand about cruises and the ins and outs of vacationing this way. So a great big THANK YOU to all the staff at Cruise Critic!

Guilty as charged. Didn't really think it a bad thing but also never looked at it that way before.

I understand. Cruises are fun, Disney is fun and everyone wants to help others have a great time. Sometimes I'm reading posts and there's a lot of good information then at the bottom, the dreaded link. I have to kill the post. I hate to, but I have to.
